Check whether this player can afford research.

player:CanAffordResearch(technology)

Inputs: technology is an integer Technology ID.

Output: Boolean or nil. Technology affordability; nil when costs or resource queries are unavailable.

Errors and unavailable states: A wrong receiver or argument type can raise a Lua argument error. An unavailable live read returns nil as described in Output.
