TributeToPlayer¶
TributeToPlayer(playerId, resource, amount) ·
TributeToPlayerTracked(playerId, resource, amount)
Inputs: playerId is a different non-Gaia player in 1..255; resource
is 0 food, 1 wood, 2 stone, or 3 gold; amount is an integer in
1..16777216. Invalid or fractional values reject admission.
Description: Requests a transfer using the current native tribute fee. Neither form proves the final transferred amount; do not automatically retry a submitted or indeterminate transfer.
Output: TributeToPlayer returns true for queue admission, otherwise false.
TributeToPlayerTracked returns accepted, receipt.
Errors: Wrong Lua argument types raise an argument error. Invalid or fractional
inputs reject admission. An unavailable or negative fee rejects as
tribute-fee-unavailable; player and session changes can also reject. A tracked
receipt gives the rejection reason when available.
The fee is queried from the originating player again at execution. An
unavailable or negative fee rejects with tribute-fee-unavailable; no zero-fee
substitute is used. The native command carries amount and fee separately.
Other commands and multiplayer delay can change affordability. If resources
cannot cover amount plus fee, the game may reduce the transfer to
balance / (1 + fee). Receiver checks, including market eligibility, still
apply. A receipt does not establish acceptance, deduction, or recipient credit.
